LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) — The Colosseum at Caesars Palace officially re-opened last weekend with a pair of sold-out performances by country music icon Keith Urban.
Urban performed as part of his GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR, and the concerts showcased the new technical features of the venue, which include a new state-of-the-art sound system, new moving light fixtures, and high-definition LED video wall.
The refurb also added new, expanded seating, none of which is more than 145 feet from the stage, and the ability to reconfigure seating in the venue via an automated lift seating system.
In addition to the new general admission floor space capability, the venue’s VIP area was upgraded as well, with new banquette seating with cocktail service. The lobby bar was expanded, allowing for faster service, and enhanced flow during events.
The 4,100-capacity concert hall first opened in 2003 and has since hosted more than 10 million fans. Upcoming shows include Rod Stewart, Enrique Iglesias, Jerry Seinfeld, Madonna’s Madame X Tour, Joe Bonamassa, Guns N’ Roses, Sting, and Reba, Brooks & Dunn.
