BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Some of the most impressive Christmas decorations in the Treasure Valley are located inside the Idaho Capitol. You can see them for free daily between 8 am and 5 pm.
After parking outside the building, a large tree decorated with lights greets you. This provides a great place for pictures, with either the city or the Capitol building as your backdrop.
Whether you choose to enter the Capitol on the bottom floor or at the top of the steps, you will immediately be greeted by large Poinsettias.
Make sure to look up and see the large wreath hanging in the rotunda.
On one of the lower levels of the building, there is a beautiful display of trees and flowers.
These provide great views from almost any level of the building.
